In their quest to advance to the Round of 16, Rayados will face the Seattle Sounders this Sunday, July 30 at 7:00 pm at Lumen Field, in the second match of the Leagues Cup 2023.
Monterrey arrives in good spirits after having defeated Real Salt Lake 3-0 in the United States, and wants to repeat the result against the Washington State team.
The team coached by Fernando Ortiz faced Seattle on four occasions in 2010 and 2011, during the CONCACAF Champions League.
The statistics show three wins and one loss for Monterrey, so Rayados will be looking to increase their advantage in these head-to-head encounters.
