RAYADOS AND TEXAN FANS FOR THE CLÁSICO REGIO IN HOUSTON!

14 de October de 2023. 3:38 pm.

With the great support of their fans, the Rayados face Tigres this Saturday, October 14 at 4:45 p.m. at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, Texas.

After 13 years since their last match on U.S. soil, Rayados and Tigres return to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States.

The last time the two teams met at Shell Energy Stadium was in the Round of 16 of the Leagues Cup 2023.

In that match, Rayados eliminated Tigres by winning 1-0, with a goal by Sergio Canales.

This will be the 18th time that the Clásico Regio will be held in a friendly match.

Seven wins for the Rayados, three draws and six defeats, in addition to one match that ended without a result, is the record for derbies in friendly matches, and Monterrey wants to maintain its superiority over the Tigres.

The last time the Monterrey derby took place in the United States was in the InterLiga 2010.

On that occasion, the score ended in a 1-1 draw and Rayados won the tournament, earning a ticket to the Copa Libertadores that same year.

The Clásico Regio has been played three times in U.S. territory, all in InterLiga matches.

The support of the fans and the Familia Rayada will be essential to achieve the victory and celebrate the Hispanic Heritage in the United States.

The match will be broadcast live on TUDN in Mexico and the United States.

Go, Rayados, let's go for the win with our fans!
