In what was a true albiazul party at the Estadio BBVA, Rayados defeated Pumas 3-0 and remained as leaders and the only undefeated team in the Torneo Clausura 2024.
The team from Monterrey started Matchday 10 on the attack, and in the second half they managed to reflect their dominance over UNAM with three goals.
At minute 15, Jesús Gallardo sent in a cross that sailed through the Pumas box, but failed to find a finisher.
Four minutes later, Brandon Vazquez shot in front of goalkeeper Julio González, but the defense cut it off practically on the goal-line.
At 25', Germán Berterame headed a cross from Jesús "Tecatito" Corona, but the ball went over the goal.
Minutes later, Esteban Andrada made a great defensive play to prevent the university goal after Ceésar Huerta's run.
In the second half, Monterrey continued to search for the opponent's goal and, with goals from Brandon Vazquez, Sergio Canales and Gerardo Arteaga, secured the victory at home and unleashed the joy of the fans.

Sergio Canales sent a through ball to Gerardo Arteaga, who cut back to Christian Tabo and scored the third of the match.
After the 3-0 win, the fans exploded with joy and during the last few minutes the fans showed their satisfaction with Monterrey's performance by dancing, chanting and other expressions of celebration.
With this result, Rayados reached 22 points, have a goal difference of +13 and are the undefeated leaders of Liga MX.
This Thursday, March 7, at 6:00 p.m., Rayados will visit Cincinnati FC at TQL Stadium for the first leg of the Round of 16 of the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
