RAYADOS, ON THE LOOKOUT FOR UNDEFEATED RECORD

10 de March de 2024. 3:09 pm.

Rayados play today with great motivation at home, not only to maintain their lead and undefeated record, but also to get closer to their best unbeaten start in short tournaments.

At 7:00 p.m. at Estadio BBVA, Monterrey will host Mazatlán FC this Sunday for Matchday 11 of Torneo Clausura 2024.

The Monterrey team has 6 wins and 4 draws in the tournament, making it the third best unbeaten start in its history in short tournaments, with 10 matches undefeated, as it also did in the Clausura 2019.

The two best unbeaten starts for the regio team were in the Apertura 2010, in which they went 13 games without losing, and in the Apertura 2017, with 11.

With 22 points and a difference of +13, Rayados closed the previous matchday as leaders of the Liga BBVA MX.

After América's win over Tigres, the capital team reached 24 points on Saturday, so Monterrey will be looking for the three points to take the lead for the third consecutive matchday.

Against Mazatlán, the team coached by Fernando Ortíz has five wins and two ties, and will be looking to keep up their good pace this Sunday.

Monterrey is also the best defense in the Clausura 2024, having allowed only 6 goals.

In addition, Rayados also lead the "Fair Play" table, with only 13 yellow cards and one red card.

Bandon Vazquez and Sergio Canales are second in the scoring charts with seven goals, two behind Pachuca's Salomón Rondón.

Let's Go, Rayados!
