Rayadas de Monterrey defeated Atlas Femenil 1-0 in Matchday 12 at the Estadio Jalisco, their eighth win and they maintain the second place in the Clausura 2024 Tournament.
In addition to the win, the albiazules reached their seventh game without conceding a goal.
Rayadas started the match with intensity, and it was Nicole Perez who opened the scoring just seconds into the game.

Minutes later, Jermaine Seoposenwe came close to scoring the second with a left-footed shot, but Atlas goalkeeper Daniela Solera kept the Albiazul striker's goal out.
After a shot by Brenda Ceren in the 23rd minute, Pamela Tajonar deflected the ball for a corner kick with a great save.
Myra Delgadillo evaded the red-and-black goalkeeper and shot at goal at minute 30, but Maritza Maldonado cleared the ball off the goal line.
In the second half, the Rayadas kept up the attacking pressure in search of the second goal of the match, but the scoreboard remained unchanged.
Pamela Tajonar prevented the red-and-black's goal by stopping a shot by Alejandra Lomeli right on the goal line at minute 49.
Myra Delgadillo came close to scoring the second for the Rayadas, but Daniela Solera made a great save to prevent the goal in the 84th minute.
With this result, the team coached by Amelia Valverde now has 26 points and is in second place in the Clausura 2024 General Standings.
Next Thursday, March 28, at 21:00, the Rayadas will host Xolos Femenil at Estadio BBVA for Matchday 13.
