With the tireless support of the fans, Rayados de Monterrey defeated Inter Miami 2-1 in a thrilling first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup Quarter-Finals.
The match started with Monterrey attacking. Although Miami managed to go ahead on the scoreboard, the team from Monterrey kept going forward, came from behind and defeated the Americans at Chase Stadium.
Brandon Vazquez had the first dangerous play at 4', after a great play by Gerardo Arteaga. However, the ball ended up in the corner kick.
Miami defender Jordi Alba took a mid-range shot at minute 15, but the ball sailed over Esteban Andrada's goal.

After a corner kick, Tomas Aviles scored the first goal of the match.
In the second half, Fernando Ortíz's men continued their search for a goal, and Maxi Meza tied the match.
Luis Suárez came close to extending the lead at 56', with a shot that went just wide of the Monterrey goal.
After receiving a second yellow card for a foul on Maxi Meza at minute 67, David Ruiz was sent off.

Goalkeeper Drake Callender denied a direct shot and, on the rebound, Maxi Meza shot in to tie the match.
Sergio Canales took a free kick from the edge of the box at 80', but the ball went just wide of the goal.

With a powerful shot from outside the box, the Argentinean sent the ball into the corner of the opponent's goal to secure the comeback and unleash the euphoria of the Albiazul fans who made the trip to Miami.
This Saturday, April 6, at 9:00 p.m., Rayados will visit Cruz Azul at the Ciudad de los Deportes for the 14th matchday of the Liga BBVA MX.
On Wednesday, April 10, at 8:30 p.m., the team from Monterrey will host Inter from Miami for the second leg of the Quarterfinals at Estadio BBVA, and will advance to the Semifinal if they draw or even if they lose 1-0.
