He participated with the Mexican National Team that reached the Final of the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
The British newspaper,The Guardian, ranked him one of the 40 best youth level players born in 1997 worldwide.
At the age of 19, he was a key member of the Mexican U-23 National Team that played in the CONCACAF Pre-Olympic tournament.
He participated in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games, along with Cesar Montes and Alfonso Gonzalez, and in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games he won the bronze medal.
In the Apertura 2021, he joined Monterrey, where he has been champion of the CONCACAF Champions League.
