Rayados will visit Chivas this Sunday, September 3 at 5:05 p.m. at the Akron Stadium for Matchday 7 of the Apertura 2023.

After a good start of the tournament, and after the break in the competition for the Leagues Cup 2023, Rayados suffered two defeats in the Liga MX and this Sunday they want to get back to the winning ways. 

Rayados are statistically tied with Chivas, as both teams have six wins each at the Estadio Akron, in addition to a draw, so the men led by Fernando Ortiz will be looking to get on top of the scoreboard at the home of Chivas.

Monterrey is in 10th place in the season standings with 7 points, and a win could put them in seventh place in the competition. 

Also, Rayados are in second place in the defending standings with only 4 goals conceded, while Chivas has 5 goals against.

The arrival of Jesús "Tecatito" Corona to the team could be an incentive for the squad, who seek to get back on track and return to the top positions in the competition in order to reach its goals for the tournament.
