He played 477 games in European soccer and scored 89 goals.

He arrived in 2012 to AS Monaco, France, a team in which he made his debut in the UEFA Champions League and with which he lined up alongside other international stars such as Ricardo Carvalho, Eric Abidal, James Rodriguez, Yannick Carrasco and Radamel Falcao, among others.

He moved in 2015 to Olympique de Marseille, a club where he was coached by Marcelo Bielsa.

The now Rayados' offensive player had in 2016-2017 a stint in Italian soccer, being part of Genoa and AC Milan.

Lucas arrived in 2019 to Sevilla, Spain, where he was a teammate of Oliver Torres and Jesus "Tecatito" Corona, who are now part of Monterrey.

He won the Europa League championship twice with Sevilla. He played more than 200 games with the Spanish club, scored 44 goals and had 22 assists.

He played in 2022-2023 in Ajax, Holland, and returned again to Sevilla, the club from which he is heading to his new challenge in Monterrey.

He has been part of the Argentine National Team since the youth categories, where he began his career in the U-15 National Team, with which he competed in 2009 in the South American Championship.

He participated with Argentina's Senior National Team in the qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Lucas arrives to Rayados to bring his experience, quality and leadership to the squad, and to collaborate with the team to achieve the Institution's maximum sporting objectives.
