"Capi" among the 11 best in the world!

Rebeca Bernal, defender and captain of Rayadas del Monterrey, was selected as part of the 2024 Team of the Year by DAZN Women's Football, a platform dedicated to the broadcast and promotion of women's football globally.

Rebeca led Rayadas to a back-to-back championship and established herself as one of the best defenders in Mexican and world football.

This recognition elevates Rebeca's profile and talent, serving as both motivation and a positive impact on her career.

Alongside the "Capi," other international stars were also selected.

Aitana Bonmati: Player for FC Barcelona Femenino and two-time Ballon d'Or winner as the best player in the world.

Naomi Girma: Player for San Diego Wave and the United States National Team, who won the gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Vanessa Gilles: Defender for Olympique Lyonnais, a team with which she won the UEFA Women's Champions League.

Caroline Graham-Hansen: Player for FC Barcelona Femenino, finalist for the 2024 Ballon d'Or, and recipient of the prestigious Kniksen Honorary Award for her contributions to Norwegian football.

Additionally, the list includes Mariona Caldentey from Arsenal FC, Khadija Shaw from Manchester City, Mala Grohs from Bayern München, Lucia Di Guglielmo from AS Roma, Olaug Tvedten from Välerenga, and Barbra Banda from Orlando Pride.
