Jesús Zavala, former player and Rayados ambassador, and Monty, the official mascot of C.F. Monterrey, attended the 2025 GAF Latinos in Roofing Summit & Expo – Southeast Region held in Atlanta, Georgia, where they met with Hispanic contractors and shared their passion for soccer.
This is the only roofing contractors’ convention in Spanish in the United States, providing a space with talks and panels about roofing, worker insurance, and business growth strategies.
Additionally, a special contractors’ panel was held to share advice and tools for personal and professional development.
“It’s a combination of culture and business, On the Pitch and in Life. This union represents the value of work and the celebration of culture. It shows the dedication of Rayados, SRS, and GAF: all three organizations pursue the same goal with the Hispanic community,” said Alan Lopez, Director of CARE External Learning and Development Latinos in Roofing.
The Club also organized a giveaway where five lucky winners received Rayados jerseys and balls signed by the team.
Xavier Sánchez, the Club’s Commercial Director, highlighted the importance of these events to strengthen the connection with fans in the United States:
“One of our goals is to get closer and closer to our fans in the U.S., and SRS’s sponsorship allows us to do so through events like this. For them, it’s also a great opportunity to show their appreciation for the Latino community,” he said.
The presence of Monty and Zavala was the perfect opportunity to take photos, sign autographs, and share Rayados passion with the Latino community in Atlanta.
